This new version is not only new, but also improved in terms of design and materials! Based on customer feedback and months of research and development, the SS80 is made with a stronger and more durable nylon/polymer blend similar to the original 43, but actually reduces felt spin and offers greater reliability. You will immediately notice the grip structure. It offers a rock solid grip that feels great and is incredibly attractive. The frame has a double-trigger undercut design that gives a better grip on the gun, which reduces felt recoil and improves speed and accuracy. Product Overview: In 1981, Gaston Glock assembled a team of engineers to design his first firearms. The results were put to the pistol tests of the Austrian army and received the contract in 1982. Later, the army called the original GLOCK pistol 80. These guns were later commercially known as the "G17" and were only available in the US market for 2 years. Until the introduction of the "Gen2" model in 1988. GLOCKs marked P80 were never imported into the United States.
Lipsey worked with Glock for over three years to create a faithful reproduction of the original Pistole 80. It's not the exact same gun, but it's as close as they can get.
